Thank you
We know that you are doing an incredible job, going above and beyond to help our members, customers and fellow colleagues, whilst adapting to this ever-changing and challenging time. We continue to be really grateful for all you’re doing, thank you.
Colleague Protection – Knowing what’s required – iLearn training module
To further assist our frontline colleagues in understanding the protection equipment we have introduced and how to apply our policies and procedures around personal protection during the current crisis, we have released a specific Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) i.Learn module for Food, Post Office, Funeral and Childcare.
This module will provide you with all the relevant information that you need to know around the policies, procedures and protection equipment that we have in place and how to apply and use them.
Every frontline colleague must complete this module. Your manager has been asked to arrange this training for you. If not, then please remind them and ensure that you make arrangements to complete it as quickly as possible.
You can access your specific module below, and if you have any queries please raise them with your Manager who will ensure you get a prompt response.
Note that to access i.Learn you will require your AD login credentials:
You can also find guidance and instruction to help all colleagues understand what procedures and measures have been put in place by each group in the Coronavirus information section on Colleagues Connect here.

Colleague Thank You Vouchers Update
Time to use Colleague Thank You Vouchers extended until 31st August
The Colleague Thank You Vouchers, which were issued in November 2019 to eligible colleagues are due to expire in May this year.
Therefore, in recognition of the difficulty in redeeming them before the original expiry date of May 2020 the Society has agreed to extend the expiry date for the Colleague Thank You Vouchers until 31st August 2020
What does it mean for you?
If you are unable to use the vouchers by the original date (May 2020), the vouchers have now been extended to 31st August 2020.
To note:
If vouchers have not been received or replacements are required due to misplaced vouchers, this will not be possible until offices reopen (to be confirmed).
To have been eligible, colleagues must have been a member of Midcounties Co-operative and have completed the appropriate lengths of service with Midcounties in the relevant period.

Thumbs Up #TeamMC - How you can get involved
We want you to share a picture of yourself and/or your team with your thumbs up and include a sentence outlining why you’ve given yourself, your team or a team member a ‘thumbs up’ today, along with the hashtag #TeamMC.
E.g. it could be some great customer feedback you’ve had for going above and beyond. Or something you’ve done to help the community that they’re proud of. Or just that the team is Okay.
You can share these either on your group's Facebook groups or by simply sending it to thumbsup@midcounties.coop
We will be posting regular Thumbs Up montages on the homepage of Colleagues Connect, so remember to log on and be reminded of what makes our Society so great, our colleagues. You can also take the chance to give them a pat on the back yourself by commenting on the post.
