Here’s what Dayna had to say about her experience on her apprenticeship programme:
My name is Dayna and I am a full-time member of staff at Little Pioneers Tavistock nursery. Whilst working as bank staff for Midcounties, I was given the opportunity to better my knowledge and skills by completing a Level 3 Apprenticeship.
During my Apprenticeship, I always had amazing support and guidance from my colleagues and the Management team. The team supported me to keep on track which helped me to complete assignments on time.
During the course, I gained confidence with talking to parents and other professionals and really enjoyed supporting the children through their nursery journey.
Now I have completed my Apprenticeship, I am Level 3 qualified and have progressed to become a Senior Early Years Practitioner, working with the 2-3 year olds.
Skills for Life - National Apprenticeship Week is coming!
National Apprenticeship Week is 6th to 12th February 2023 and this year’s theme is “Skills for Life”, focusing on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a rewarding career, as well as how they help employers build a workforce with future-ready skills.
Keep an eye out for our celebration of our Apprentices during this year’s National Apprenticeship Week!
