"I learnt a lot, it's been so good for me. James and Jayson say I've done very very well, I really enjoyed it, the staff are really good and James and Jayson are really pleased.
I have learnt lots of things, have built my confidence. I talked to people, learnt so many things about customer service. For example, some people are very kind but some people can be a bit angry; for this, I have learned about being patient, and asking the team to help when I need it. So many people have encouraged me and it feels really nice when people tell you you can do it.
One thing I am proud of is that James (our Store Manager) let me go on the till and serve people. At first, I was nervous but now I am more confident and by the end, I could be left by myself to do it. I really would recommend this placement to people. It has been so helpful for learning new things, including learning about what working in the UK is like. And it was really good fun!"
What is Thumbs Up?π
βThumbs Upβ is our way of celebrating all your heroic efforts by sharing your great work and giving other colleagues the ability to like it.
It could be some great customer feedback you've received, something you've done to help the local community or simply a Thumbs Up to your team!
Just make sure you please take care of social distancing for pictures together as we are also following guidelines on this and hope you are too.
