This document sets out the terms and conditions that apply to the participation in the Take our Jolly Quizzes & Win competition. The Midcounties Co-operative Limited reserves the right to change these terms at any time.
The prize draw promoter is: Corporate Communications, Colleagues Connect, The Midcounties Co-operative, Co-operative House, Warwick Technology Park, Gallows Hill, Warwick, CV34 6DA
How to participate
1. All colleagues employed by the Midcounties Co-operative at the point at which the draw is made are automatically entered into the A Week of Festive Joy prize draw.
2. There will be 5 £20 Food giftcard winners each week on 10th & 17th December - 10 winners in total.
3. Winners are selected at random from all entrants and will be published on Colleagues Connect.
Restrictions;
4. Internet access required.
5. This prize draw is open only to The Midcounties Co-operative Colleagues. This competition is not open to anyone outside of the Society or their families, agents or anyone else connected.
The Prizes;
6. There will be 10 winners selected from all valid entries.
7. Prizes will be fixed for each draw and no alternative, or cash equivalent will be offered.
8. If winners live outside our core trading areas and win a £20 gift card, they will receive a one4all £20 voucher alternative.
9. Any winner of a £20 one4all voucher will receive this directly via email.
10. The prizes are as stated, non-transferable and there are no cash alternatives.
11. The result of the competition is final, and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the winners. Colleagues Connect is not responsible if a winner does not receive notification or delivery of their prize as a result of having provided incorrect/incomplete details when requested following notification.
12. Colleagues Connect will not offer an alternative prize of equal or greater value. In the event of unforeseen circumstances or circumstances outside its reasonable control, Colleagues Connect reserves the right to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, this competition without prior notice.
Notifications;
13. The winners will be notified directly and can check back on Colleagues Connect for further information.
14. The winners will be selected in an independent random prize draw with gift cards delivered in January 2026.
Data Protection;
15. Colleagues Connect may collect personal information from Entrants under the Data Protection Act 2018 and other applicable data privacy laws. The Promoter will only use Entrants' information for the purposes of the administration of this promotion. View our data protection policy here.
Acceptance;
16. Colleagues Connect reserves the right to discount any inappropriate or offensive entries and to disqualify from the prize draw any entrant suspected of fraud or cheating including, without limitation, through the manipulation of codes, multiple computer generated entries, or otherwise in our opinion fraudulently falsifying data or acting fraudulently or dishonestly.
17. Colleagues Connect cannot accept liability for any system failures, network errors, website unavailability, hacks on the system, personal computer issues or any other issue out of our reasonable control.
18. The Colleagues Connect decision is final in every situation (including any not covered by these terms and conditions).
19. Entry to the competition shall constitute your acceptance of these terms and conditions and your agreement to be bound by them.
20. During the competition, the winner agrees to photography and filming, to be used in the public domain. The winner(s) agrees to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material for The Midcounties Co-operative.
21. It will be deemed that as an employee of The Midcounties Co-operative your acceptance of these terms and conditions, unless you opt out of Take our Jolly Quizzes & Win competition. If you would like to opt out, then please send an email to Communications@midcounties.coop.
22. We will only retain personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose of the prize draw activity.
