Connexus has launched – great progress so far
On 23rd October the first phase of our Connexus Programme launched in our Food Stores and Post Offices. As I have previously mentioned, Connexus is all about ensuring that our remarkable colleagues are equipped to do their best work and the WorkJam app allows all colleagues easy access to our many systems. In particular, the app has allowed us to move away from paper-based tasks and complete them digitally saving both time and paper. It has also enabled colleagues to access Society and Group communications via the app, as well as using chat groups for their site.
The Knowledge Centre portal contains all the policies, procedures, how-to guides and links to give you a one-stop self-service solution and the quick links on the app give you direct access to work schedules, your payslip, the colleague pulse survey, Wagestream and much more.
Hear from Sally our Baker from the Twigworth Store, telling you about the app and see the pictures showing colleagues using it in store. The key focus now is to embed Connexus in our Food Stores and Post Offices, but early in the New Year we will be extending Connexus to the rest of our colleagues and the Connexus Team will be keeping you updated.
Society Investments in Travel – Lydney opens
Following the launch of the Sutton Coldfield Travel branch in September, this week our Society investments continued with the official launch of Lydney Travel. Incorporating the brilliant brand-new booking experience for our members and customers, the new format of branches will help holidaymakers experience a bright, fresh and modernised holiday booking experience. Designed to make interactions easy and inspire customers, I look forward to visiting Leah Creed and the team very soon!
Remembrance – Lest we forget
This year remembrance commemorations will be held on Saturday and Sunday across the country honouring all the fallen heroes.
With silences taking place during both days at 11am, stores and branches that are open will join the two-minute silences. We ask that all colleagues wherever you may be, support this moment of reflection. On Thursday, I had the privilege of laying a wreath at the Warwick office with Leamington & Warwick ambassador, Jacob Isherwood. Symbolising a reminder of the sacrifices made by our colleagues during the Great War.
