We’ve created a new video showing simply how you, our colleagues, can help get the word out about the Doing Good Together Fund to make a huge difference to YOUR local community.
Are you clear on the Doing Good Together Fund? Do you know how it works and how you can help local members and community groups benefit from the funding pot on offer?
The difference the Doing Good Together Fund is already making
These three community groups have already benefited from the fund. Which groups could it help in your area?
The Bike Pump at Victory Park
Cainscross, Gloucestershire
£500 DGTF grant
"Your grant came at a crucial time, helping us reach our Crowdfunder target for the bike pump track and unlocking vital match funding from Sport England. Advertising that the track was supported by The Midcounties Co-operative very much encouraged members of the community to make pledges. We might not have hit our target without your grant."
Wycombe for Fairtrade
High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
£50 DGTF grant
"The £50 grant let us stock up on Fairtrade goods from our local Co-op store for a Fairtrade and eco-friendly tombola at the Pann Mill Open Day. This small grant made a big impact, helping us raise funds, spread the Fairtrade message, and connect with local families and groups."
Relate Severn and Wye
Kidderminster, Worcestershire
£1,000 DGTF grant
"The grant made it possible for us to offer 17 free counselling sessions in Wyre Forest, helping families and young adults improve their mental health – support that wouldn’t have happened without your funding. Also, the grant process worked really well – it was great to get a decision so quickly.”
