Voting in the Society’s annual elections is now open. We encourage you all to take part and vote for your Board of Directors and Member Engagement Committee (‘MEC’) representatives.
What are the Society Elections?
The elections are all about Democracy – an absolutely key co-operative value and the ‘D’ in our DOES values. Democracy lies right at the heart of our Society given we are owned and run by our members.
They are your chance to have your say! Every year, members are asked to vote for who they want to represent them on our Board of Directors and Member Engagement Committee.
This year we’ve candidates standing for both the Board and MEC, so if you’re eligible to vote, you’ll receive voting papers for these elections either by post or email, depending on your preference.
Voting is open until 5:00pm on 3 October and the results will be announced at our Half Year Meetings.
