This month, we're stopping by Radio Winchcombe, a community radio station for Bishops Cleeve and Winchcombe. As Phil mentioned in a recent vlog, they are a brilliant Doing good together fund recipient that operates solely by volunteers. Watch this month’s exclusive video update!
A little bit more about Radio Winchcombe…
The group were recent recipients of a £250 gift card, which they used to purchase refreshments, cake, and sundries to celebrate the station's 20th birthday at a party in April.
Like all community radio stations, Radio Winchcombe relies on volunteers to manage the station and produce programmes. Heard on 106.9 & 107.1 FM, online, and via smart speaker, Radio Winchcombe broadcasts both music and speech programmes. Their music output covers everything from current chart hits to specialist music shows!
