Colleague fundraising for Breast Cancer awareness - Well done to Heather Bates ππ
As of next week, Helen Bates, Head of Property Management, is walking part of the Pilgrims route in Spain (75 miles in 3 days) to help raise money for Walk the Walk. A charity specifically focusing on research into and helping people with breast cancer, she has benefited personally from one of the charities so is ready to support Walk the Walk again!
If you would like to donate to Heather's cause click here.
Heather is also keen to reinforce the message of early detection of Breast Cancer ("I found my βlumpβ pretty much by fluke as it was only because Iβd watched an episode of my favourite TV show βCold Feetβ that I checked...")
For more information on Breast Cancer Awareness see here.
Forget Me Not - Charity Partner event thank you
In an event sponsored by Midcounties, clients and volunteers had a lovely lunch together with live entertainment by Reggae Ray.
At the end of the day, all volunteers went home with a thank you card and gift to show our appreciation. Our volunteers are a fantastic bunch of people, who really put their all into helping us in so many ways.
Margaret Ball, who works at your Bassett Avenue store, is on the right of the photo, closest to the banner. Margaret is a wonderful volunteer, and always happy to help with anything.
Thank you again for your support, Jo at Forget Me Not Bicester
What is Thumbs Up?π
βThumbs Upβ is our way of celebrating all your heroic efforts by sharing your great work and giving other colleagues the ability to like it.
It could be some great customer feedback you've received, something you've done to help the local community or simply a Thumbs Up to your team!
Just make sure you please take care of social distancing for pictures together as we are also following guidelines on this and hope you are too.
Thank you for the contribution, if for whatever reason you donβt want it to be used in this way please contact communications@midcounties.coop.
