Cox Green Community Fayre - fundraising for Defibrillators β€
Myself (Russell Chapman) and Jeanette are part of the organizational committee for the Cox Green Community group, we help organize the annual Cox Green Fayre which raises funds for a different local cause every year which culminates in the fayre. This year saw the event raise monies for a new community defibrillator which will be positioned outside the store on Wessex Way. On the day 7 colleagues attended the event and help with the event co-ordination, we saw over 500 attendees on the day whilst running our very own tombola store which raised Β£320 towards the defibrillator total.
The event saw over 20 different stalls and other attractions which included games i.e. splat the toy rat and penalty shoot out, local performing groups (rock choir, brass band, street dancing), WW2 spitfire flypast and also a visit from our local MP Theresa May who unveiled a Platinum Jubilee plaque and tree planted in honour of the Queen's Jubilee this year. The tree and plaque were provided by the Midcounties through the community grant scheme.
Well done to Russell, Jeanette and the whole team! πππ

I just want to give a big shout out to the guy in the post office. We were having a stressful time renewing a passport and tonight we turned up quite late to go through the process and he went through it not once but twice as the passport office was busy. A big thank you!

Fantastic customer service in Tamworth Food πππ
We relaunched our store at Tamworth on Saturday following a refit and have had a really big push on customer feedback. I set my team the challenge to get 50 C-Sat (customer service) responses. They met this challenge within the first few days so I set a new target of 100.
Today we have received our 100th response and feedback is still coming in. We have had 81 wow's so far.
I am extremely proud of all of my colleagues for getting behind this challenge and it just shows what can be achieved with such a great team.
