It's National Pet Month, so why not share your pet photos with us? Bringing so much joy and companionship, our pets help us exercise, get outside, and even socialise! Just send them over to thumbsup@midcounties.coop along with your pet's name, your name and trading area.

"We had a customer in today, in his late 30's queuing on the main bank till. In front of him were an elderly couple in their 80's who are regulars who are in most days. The man asked the cashier Liz if she could ask the couple if he could pay for their shopping for Easter. Liz asked the couple and the elderly lady then asked the man why he replied "I never had the chance to do that for my own grandparents and would like to for you." The lady accepted and got rather upset. The young man paid for the shopping which came to £26.16. Liz spoke to the lady at the end of the transaction to check she was ok as clearly upset by the gesture of goodwill.
