Prize Draw Terms & Conditions

This page sets out the terms and conditions that apply to the participation in the Doing good together prize draw.

The Midcounties Co-operative Limited reserves the right to change these terms at any time.

The prize draw promoter is The Midcounties Co-operative Limited, Warwick Technology Park, Gallows Hill, Warwick, CV34 6DA, UK (“Promoter”)
How to participate;

Internet access is required.

To take part, you must complete and submit the entry form via the Doing good together entry form located here.

All entries received prior to the monthly closing dates will be valid for that month’s draw. There will be 1 winner, selected at random and announced.

There is one winning prize of £50 in Your Co-op Food vouchers, and a £100 donation to the charity of the winner’s choice.
The Prize;

The winner will be chosen at random by the Promoter from all completed and valid entries on or around the 1st of each month.

The winner will receive:

£50 in Your Co-op Food vouchers,

The vouchers will be posted to the winner’s address

Your Co-op Food vouchers are subject to terms and conditions, which can be found on the back of the voucher.

A £100 donation made directly to the charity of the winner’s choice.

The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to request the winner to select an alternate charity, including where the selected charity is not aligned to the Promoter’s DOES values

The charity chosen by the winner as part of their entry will receive a £100 donation from The Midcounties Co-operative within 30 days of the charity being confirmed. The charity must be registered.

Prizes must be accepted as offered and no alternative will be available
Restrictions;

This prize draw is open only to the Midcounties Co-operative Colleagues. This competition is not open to anyone outside of the Society or their families, agents or anyone else connected.

The Promoter accepts no responsibility for data corruption, incomplete or illegible entries, or entries which fail to be properly submitted.
Notifications;

Winners will be notified by phone or email on the day following the prize draw.

In the event that contact cannot be made with the winner within 3 weeks of the draw then a new winner will be selected from other remaining entries and the original winner will forfeit the prize.

The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.

The winner will receive their prize via the Your Co-op members app, they can redeem their digital vouchers at any Your Co-op Food store operated by The Midcounties Co-operative.
Data Protection:
By submitting my story entry, you consent to The Midcounties Co-operative using this information and photographs and/or video recordings including images and/or sound recordings of me both internally and externally to utilise for use within articles, or content for the purpose of engaging colleagues and or the public on the goods, services, Society, or educational content.
You understand that these images and/or sound recordings could also be used in print and digital media formats (including print publications, websites, e-marketing, posters, banners, advertising, film, and/or social media).
You understand that content and images could be viewed on the internet and is therefore viewable from anywhere in the world.
You understand that some images or recordings may be indefinitely publicly available once they are published and that this may be outside of Midcounties’ control. You also understand that Midcounties may keep these images or recordings as part of its archive.
You have read and understand the conditions and consent to your images being used as described. You understand that you can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting communications@midcounties.coop
The Midcounties Co-operative is committed to processing information in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). The personal data collected on this form will be held securely and will only be used for administrative purposes.
You can ask Midcounties to stop using your images at any time, in which case it will not be used in future marketing or publications but may continue to appear in marketing or publications already in circulation.
If you want to have your information removed, please let us know at Communications@midcounties.coop stating your full name and we will remove it as soon as we can.
