It’s that time of the year and to celebrate all the great things we have done with our Regional Communities over the past year, read our 12 Days of Christmas! These range from different charities to school partnerships and highlights each day how important our donations, work and volunteering is to these partners.
As a bonus of our countdown to the 12 Days of Christmas, we are showcasing the school partnership with Bicton CE Primary School who is the partner school of the Shropshire Regional Community. Check out our video below when we visited them for a community litter pick with Midcounties colleagues and helped clean up the local environment!
Why did we go?
A community litter pick was arranged in the local area with students, Midcounties volunteers and the Shropshire RC Ambassador John Street, who spoke to the students on plastic waste. The visit was to raise awareness for students and how Midcounties are involved alongside our Environmental Ambassador Cal Major.
During the litter pick, we were also joined by local Bicton Heath Food Store colleagues who helped the students clean up the surrounding areas of Bicton CE Primary School. Even though it was a little wet on the day they collected a number of random plastic items buried in the area!
How can colleagues get involved?
