Last weekend, 11 brave (and slightly muddy) colleagues from our Finance team tackled the Wolf Run – a grueling 5km obstacle course packed with hills, water, tunnels and lots of mud – to raise over £800 (so far!) for some amazing charities.
Accounts Payable Manager Ollie Maye and Admin Manager Dan Hope came up with the idea to combine a teambuilding challenge with the opportunity to support charities close to their hearts, assembling an enthusiastic wolf pack of Finance colleagues to take part alongside them.
True to the spirit of doing good together, the remarkable colleagues lifted their teammates over walls and cheered each other on through freezing water to the finish line.

Together they raised money for:
-
The Bodie Hodges Foundation, which supports families after the loss of a child – a cause close to one teammate’s heart.
-
The Myton Hospice, which provides compassionate end-of-life care in the local community.
They smashed their original £500 target, but donations are still coming in. It’s not too late to support the team’s effort here.

Hear from the pack...
"The Wolf Run was muddy, challenging, and an unforgettable experience! Over the past year, I’ve made some big changes to improve my health, and taking on this event for charity felt like a real milestone. It was fantastic to do it as a team, and the more we can raise for these incredible causes, the better. Huge thanks to everyone who's supported us!"

"It was such a special day. We all came away with more than just bruises and tired legs, we left with memories, pride and a stronger bond as a team. To run for two amazing causes made it even more meaningful, especially as one of them has a deeply personal connection to me and my family. Shout out to the amazing Wolf Pack and to everyone who has supported and donated.”
