British Food Fortnight Starts!

Championing local produce is what makes us unique as a Co-op and supporting our local suppliers is what we do best with the Best of Our Counties. This week sees the start of British Food Fortnight which celebrates both!
Running from 19th September - 4th October 2020, the fortnight is a national celebration of British Food, created to highlight the health benefits & pleasures of eating quality, fresh seasonal and regional produce.
Now more than ever we need to highlight & point the spotlight on the farmers and producers who work 24/7 to provide us with delicious British food. During the early Covid-19 lockdown days we were extremely grateful for their support & as we approach an Autumn/Winter of continuing changes, it’s an excellent opportunity to create awareness of the importance of shopping British.
How are we involved?
To celebrate British Food Fortnight within the Society, selected Food markets including supermarkets and convenience, will be running British Food Fortnight specific offers around our fantastic local producers. Make sure you pop in to get involved!
