Another fantastic example of Doing good together, in my video blog this week, fellow executive member, Pete Westall visits Cheltenham Open Door (the Cheltenham & Gloucester Regional Community partner). The group supports vulnerable, disadvantaged and lonely people in the local area.
Who is Cheltenham Open Door?
Aiming to relieve poverty, hardship and social or emotional distress, they offer their services free of charge. Guests can have hot meals, request food parcels, benefit from free clothing from the clothing store, access showers and wash and dry clothing on site.
Since the partnership began, we’re proud to say the Cheltenham & Gloucester Regional Community recently raised an incredible £1,000 for a dedicated Christmas lunch. Just one of the many fundraising activities, a thank you to all the colleagues involved in helping support our local communities.
