Society investments continue as our Chichester nursery reopens its doors as a newly refurbished Little Pioneers Nursery and Pre-school. Becoming the 12th Little Pioneers Nursery across our estate.
Reopening earlier this month with a reinvestment value of £249k, Your Co-op Little Pioneers Chichester has been transformed into a beautiful nursery with brand new furnishings and equipment. Creating indoor environments to encourage natural curiosity, giving children the freedom to explore, and the space to learn and grow. Have a look at the incredible refurbishment below.
Creating airy, bright indoor and outdoor spaces purposefully designed for inquisitive little minds. The stimulating environments have calmer spaces where children can recharge their batteries. Their outdoor environment is equally as important and is designed to provide space for engaging with nature all year round through well-resourced growing areas which the children love!
Celebrating with an Easter Family Fun Day!
To celebrate the opening of their new look nursery, Chichester welcomed 38 existing families at their Easter Family Fun Day. Providing the opportunity to look around their new nursery, understand what it means to be a Little Pioneers nursery and pre-school and also enjoy some easter fun with activities such as an easter egg hunt, egg and spoon race and the opportunity to meet Ralph the Rabbit!
Parents loved their new look nursery and expressed how lovely everything looked along with the new garden.
Kim the Nursery Manager said, “The Easter family fun day was a huge success, after a tough couple of years of Covid-19, many parents haven’t had the opportunity to have a good look around our nursery. This is why we thought it was important to host an open day for existing parents, giving them the opportunity to look around, get to know our colleagues a little better and have a little Easter fun whilst doing so. Our colleagues also enjoyed showcasing our new look nursery and talked to parents about the new Little Pioneers way and what it means for them and their children.”
