The latest nursery to get a refresh and rebrand to the Your Co-op Little Pioneers name is Stonehouse in Harbourne, Birmingham. Take a look around with our drone footage and read more about the exciting childcare plans for 2024!
Previously a First Steps nursery, our Stonehouse setting has had a complete overhaul with fresh paint, new resources and exciting equipment in the garden, including a sand pit, climbing frames and growing garden.
The £335,000 overhaul has been a hit with colleagues and children alike, with Nursery Manager Tina Young saying, “Supporting children and families in both their education and happiness is at the heart of what we do, and this nursery will provide them with a great environment to develop into independent and confident young people.”
Considering using the nursery for your little one? Pop along to their open day on Saturday (24th February) to see what the site has to offer. Don’t forget you’ll also get up to 60% colleague discount!
What else is on the horizon for Childcare in 2024?
The Stonehouse refresh is part of a five-year programme of investment in our nurseries to bring the Your Co-op Little Pioneers brand to more settings.
Also underway is a £435k rebrand at our Bristol setting and our Oxford Station nursery is being entirely rebuilt on the current site to create a fresh, purpose-built setting. The children are being temporarily relocated while building work takes place.
Plus, we have another newbuild in the pipeline – Apley in Telford is due to open in September 2024 following an £800k investment. Here’s what it looks like so far…
