This week, I’m delighted to announce this year’s Thank You Vouchers will be released, to eligible colleagues, on 31st July and I want to add my personal thanks to colleagues for all the hard work and commitment over the past year. The vouchers will be live via the Your Co-op members app and whether you choose to use them at a food store or for a holiday getaway, I hope you make the most of them. To find out more, click here
Celebrating Long Service
Earlier today I had the pleasure of visiting our Vine Island Food Store to present Sarah Edwards with her 40-year service award. Incredibly, Sarah has spent her entire career at this store and has made many friends along the way. It was really nice to celebrate with Sarah and her fellow colleagues who turned out in force to congratulate her. Her store manager, Alex, even baked a lemon drizzle cake, which I have to say was delicious!
Remarkable Colleagues – Jen Rust, Albrighton Food Store Manager
As I discussed at the recent Doing Good Together Managers Conference, our remarkable colleagues are what makes our business unique. Whether that’s colleagues fundraising in Bourton or Codsall’s community work being recognised, we have so many colleagues going above and beyond to help our communities by doing good together.
So, this week, I’m sharing a special update from Thrive Member, Danny Farmer that focuses on another remarkable colleague, Jen Rust, Store Manager at our Albrighton Food store who supports her local community with countless fundraising and volunteering activities and demonstrates doing good together so well. Great to see!
