Christmas is coming and to get you in the festive spirit we are running our very own Five Days of Festive Fun exclusively for our colleagues! As a reward, we are giving out something special for you and something perfect for our planet this Christmas, so why not enter today?
How to enter?
It’s easy, with 10 x £10 Co-op Food gift vouchers on offer and 50 planted trees by our Your Co-op Broadband partner, Ecologi each day, just take part in our daily quiz during the 5 days to have a chance of winning either prize. Be quick, as all quizzes close at the end of Day 5 (Friday 17th December), with all winners announced next week along with the correct answers. Good luck!

Five Days of Festive Fun - Day 3 Christmas Facts Part 1
Give back to the planet this year – with your own planted tree! 🌳
Teaming up with our Utilities partner, Ecologi, we’re giving colleagues the chance to give back to the planet by planting their very own tree. With 50 planted trees up for grabs every day, we encourage colleagues to help support sustainability by taking part.
How are we involved with Ecologi?
This year, the Utilities Trading Group have partnered with Ecologi to provide their Climate Positive Broadband services. Ecologi is a Social Enterprise that enable individuals and businesses to easily fund projects with real measurable climate impact through collective action. They provide a choice between or a combination of support for carbon reduction projects and tree planting, with the full transparency that allows individuals and businesses to use this action as part of their sustainability calculations.
With over 500 customers now live on Climate Positive Broadband, they are funding projects which reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 27 tonnes every month, and with every new customer onboarded that increases by another 50Kg (way in excess of the estimated 3Kg that the broadband service generates). They've also planted over 3,500 trees. In 2022, Your Co-op Mobile will be introducing an equivalent Climate Positive Mobile service and this Christmas they are planting a tree for every Fairphone they sell, all through our partnership with Ecologi.
