It’s GroceryAid Day today, and after the last 12 months, it’s so important that all colleagues know about the support available to them.
Our colleagues need emotional, financial and practical help now more than ever. In the last year, Groceryaid has seen a 55% increase in applications for financial support, the number of financial grants paid is up by 87% and there have been 74% more calls to their Helpline. They have also doubled the number of Relate counselling sessions delivered.
How has GroceryAid helped our colleagues?

From April 2020 – December 2020 GroceryAid has given financial support to 19 of our colleagues which equated to £11,680

Children of 3 of our colleagues received a School’s Essential grant during this period too

29 colleagues have received support via the GroceryAid helpline
