As we wrap up March, the overall integration programme remains on track. Thanks to the hard work and commitment across our teams, we continue to make strong progress towards delivering our synergy benefits.
Below is a summary of the key decisions and activities completed throughout March:
Technology & Systems Strategy
The Programme Board agreed to a “consolidate first, upgrade later” approach for our technology roadmap.
System Selections
We have aligned on several major system decisions:
Food: We have chosen the till system called “Gold EPOS” as the preferred platform for our Food stores.
Finance: We will prioritise a direct move to a single finance system, called “IFS” to avoid duplication.
HR & Workforce Management: Our HR system will be “iTrent” which will be used for colleague information and support HR processes.
Our workforce management platform will be RotaGeek which will be rolled out for Lichfield colleagues.
Culture & Colleagues:
Target Operating Model (TOM) workshops are well underway across People functions.
We have also launched “Colleague of the Month.”
Food Retail:
Both FOREman a system used to manage newspaper stock, and ShopSafe used to help with security in our food business, will be rolled out across the Food business.
Thank you to everyone for your continued dedication and collaboration. Let’s keep this momentum going into April!
Next update will be a video update from Phil on 16 April.
