Our Christmas Food Bank Fund Begins #GiveALittleSomething

It’s already been a difficult year for many but during the seasonal period, it’s a time where some families and communities struggle to feed themselves. That’s why we are working together with our fellow Co-operatives across the UK this December to support Food Banks.

Together we are asking colleagues, customers and members to #GiveALittleSomething to fight food injustice.

Having supported our Food Bank Fund earlier in the year along with over 60 food bank partners across our trading areas, we made the easy decision to raise funds to support Food Banks throughout December, providing vital support over Christmas and into the New Year. To build up the fund we are donating all profits made through compostable bag sales across our food stores throughout December, and enabling members, colleagues and customers to donate via transactions in our Food Stores, and via our website and a dedicated QR code for mobile devices.

1. Raise money to help our food bank partners by donating online CLICK HERE TO DONATE  

Help our food banks support the most vulnerable throughout Christmas and January by donating as little or as much as you can. All your donations will aid our food bank partners in purchasing additional food and essentials to help with the current increase in demand.

2. Donate food, toiletries, household goods or other items via your local store.

It's not just money that can help support your local food bank, that's why we have food bank collection boxes in all of our food stores. Simply drop them in the collection box and they'll go a long way to helping the most vulnerable in your area.
