We have a strong focus on mental health and wellbeing this month, with Carers Week, Men’s Health Week and World Wellbeing Week all happening in June.
For more information on the support available to you as an OurCoop colleague, visit the Mental Health & Wellbeing page here.
Carers Week
From 8–14 June, Carers Week is a time to recognise colleagues who balance work with caring responsibilities. Caring can be deeply rewarding, but it can also feel overwhelming at times. As an OurCoop colleague, you have free access to GroceryAid's confidential helpline — available 24/7, with qualified counsellors ready to support you whenever you need it. Call 08088 021 122.
Carers Grant
If caring for a partner or dependent child living in your household is causing financial strain, GroceryAid may be able to help through a one-off grant. To find out more and to check your eligibility, click here.
Men’s Health Week 9–16 June 2026
Men’s Health Week shines a spotlight on the unique health concerns impacting men and serves as a reminder of the importance of addressing and managing health issues proactively. It encourages men to take charge of their wellbeing, make informed lifestyle choices and seek appropriate medical support when needed.
Last month, at our Annual Members’ Meeting at Walsall, we had the pleasure of meeting the Bloxwich members of Andy’s Man Club - a peer-led men’s suicide prevention charity. They also met with our Mental Health and Wellbeing Champions to talk about the support they can offer.

World Wellbeing Week is a chance to pause and look at wellbeing as a whole: mental, physical, social and financial. It’s a helpful mid-year reminder that wellbeing is not one single thing, and it can look different for all of us.
This week is an opportunity to check in with yourself - what’s feeling good right now, and what might need a little more care or attention?
