A brief update

Dear colleague,

You may have seen coverage in the BBC about the Co-operative Group and a letter to their Board about their working environment.

As you know, OurCoop is a wholly separate and an independent co-operative Society and is not part of the Co-operative Group. 

Our Member and colleague voice is core to who we are, and we have strong shared values of transparency, fairness and respect between Members, colleagues and the communities we work in.

Engaging with and listening to you, our colleagues, really matters and we do this on a regular basis through various colleague forums. Alternatively, I’d be delighted to hear from you directly. 

We welcome ideas on ways to keep facilitating these conversations, and you can always speak up through our regular colleague engagement channels.

In OurCoop, I see people who are always ready to listen, ask questions, and think carefully about our future and I know this will continue to be at the heart of our Society
