The Too Good To Go app’s popularity continues to grow, with almost 44,000 meals saved from landfill so far this year. Here’s where we’re at halfway through 2023.
The Too Good To Go app allows people to purchase ‘surprise bags’ full of food that would otherwise go to waste (due to sell-by dates) at hugely reduced prices.
More members and customers than ever before are now picking up surprise bags with us, which is great news for them, for us and for the environment.
In May, we introduced bakery bags to the app filled with baked goods such as pastries, rolls and doughnuts. They have proved extremely popular and made up around 25% of June’s total orders.
