Today is World Mental Health Day - π§

World Mental Health Day 2021 is celebrated today and to raise awareness, have a look at some of our tips below for taking care of yourself.
-
Talk about your feelings: this can help you stay in good mental health and deal with times when you feel troubled.
-
Eat well: A diet that is good for your physical health is also good for your mental health.
-
Drink sensibly: some people drink to deal with fear or loneliness, but the effect is only temporary. Drinking is not a good way to manage difficult feelings.
-
Keep active: Regular exercise can boost your self-esteem and can help you concentrate, sleep and feel better.
-
Keep in touch: the pandemic has meant we canβt always catch up with people face to face. Why not give them a call, drop them a note, or chat with them online instead. Keep the lines of communication open: itβs good for you!
-
Ask for help: If things are getting too much for you and you feel you canβt cope, ask for help. You can also contact GroceryAid for support here or why not use the Everymind app? Click here to download.
-
Take a break: a change of scene or a change of pace is good for your mental health. A few minutes can be enough to reduce stress levels.
-
Do something youβre good at: What activities can you lose yourself in? What did you love doing in the past? Doing an activity you enjoy probably means youβre good at it. Achieving something boosts your self-esteem.
-
Accept who you are: Feeling good about yourself boosts your confidence to learn new skills, visit new places and make new friends. Good self-esteem helps you cope when life takes a difficult turn.
-
Care for others: caring for others is often an important part of keeping up relationships with people close to you.

Your Latest Thumbs Up π
Well done to Fraser and the team at Wincombe Food on raising money for a new community Defibrillator. Bathing in beans - nice! πππ
On Saturday, Winchcombe Food fundraised for a new community defibrillator, where colleague, Fraser, sat in a bath of baked beans raising an incredible Β£461.63! He said, "It's the worst thing I have ever done in my life!". We didn't pick the warmest day for him to be honest and even decamping from the car park to the store's foyer did leave him rather chilly! Next time we will heat the beans a little! Following the challenge, all the beans went to a local pig farm to help prevent food waste. - Andrew at Winchcombe Food.
Well done for raising money for such a life saving cause Fraser - a great challenge!πππ

"A little thank you for me and Ian from some happy customers who have got back from Rhodes, they couldn't thank us enough for sorting out their holiday, changing it over 3 times and giving them a step by step guide of what they needed to do to travel."
