Supporting the HAF Schools Programme - just under 40,000 meals will be provided this summer across Gloucestershire
Colleagues have done another incredible job in supporting the HAF (Holidays activities and Food programme) this Summer. Just under 40,000 meals will be provided across Gloucestershire. Last week, the Senior Food team spent their volunteering hours in Chipping Norton Food, packing up 750 meal bags for the cause. Well done to everyone involved, once again! πππ

Open Day success at Little Pioneers Warwick Gates! ππ
Last Saturday, the brand-new Little Pioneers Nursery, Warwick Gates hosted their first Open Day. Welcoming over 100 local families through their door, the day was a huge success with many families commenting on the general openness of the nursery, the beautiful outdoor environment, lovely natural toys and the wonderful and friendly colleagues.
Leanne Potts, Nursery Manager mentioned: βWe had such a fantastic Open Day, and we are so proud of our new nursery Warwick Gates. It looks great and will provide an amazing environment where our children can grow and develop with the support of our excellent nursery team. Weβre looking forward to welcoming all of our little pioneers as they begin or continue their education and development journey.β
Officially open its doors in September
Receiving such high interest from local families, Warwick Gates nursery is already fully occupied, and ready for the official opening on Monday 5th September. We look forward to it and welcome all our new colleagues! ππ

A thank you and a shout-out to all of our bakery colleagues who have worked in the bakery rooms during the heatwave. The temperature next to the ovens has been extremely hot, so conditions have been a testament to our colleagues. Thank you for your continued hard work. ππ
This week, 135 Shrivenham had a refrigeration replacement which has completely transformed the store. Well done to the refit team on another successful job. πππ

We had a visit from a volunteer that the Aylesbury Town Mayor had asked to come and thank us personally for all our efforts with the local food bank and how we promote this within the community.

Happy 1st Anniversary to the Healthcare Hub! πππ
Last week we celebrated the 1st anniversary of the Healthcareβs Hub re-location with the whole team. It was a great chance to congratulate the team on the work that has been achieved in a tough year and we look ahead to an exciting 2nd year in the new Hub. Happy 1st anniversary to the hub! ππππ
