Recycling Shelves for Community use @ Aberwell Street Food Bank
Our Food teams had the chance to donate a number of old shelving to Aberwell Street, Walsall community project. A great opportunity to support the community and recycle, the team at the Food bank gladly accepted them for use to store Food and other items. A big thank you to all the volunteers who took part and supported the donation. 👍👏😊

Sue Lloyd our Receptionist at The Waterfront Office, Walsall retired on Thursday 12th January after 14 years of service with the Society. Sue initially worked in Hatherton Road for the Learning & Development team, then relocated to Warwick for a short time before applying for the Receptionist role back in Walsall in 2012 where she spent the last 11 years. Many of the Waterfront Colleagues came together on Thursday from across our trading channels to say goodbye to Sue. Here's Sue being presented with her leaving gifts by Anna Langford – Channel Operations Manager – Travel. Well done Sue and enjoy your retirement! 😊👍👏
A massive welcome back to Beau in Aldridge Travel. She recently arrived back from maternity leave and covid so a long break away from the branch. The customers have missed you as much as we have. Also congratulations on 15 years of service! 👏👍😊

Our new store launched at Badbury Park in Swindon. Store Manager, Harry Osbourne and his team are very proud of their new store with customer feedback extremely positive on the first day. The store is located on a new estate on the outskirts of Swindon, close to the large regional hospital. During the launch, many customers commented how much they have been looking forward to the store opening as it is time-consuming and difficult to travel to another food store. A big well done to all the teams involved from Property and Food. 😊👍👏
