Hannah Phillips – Head of Ranging

Annie Edwards - Customer Insights
This roadshow will be covering all things Medallia. As you will all be aware, we’ve been going through the process of switching our online customer survey from InMoment to our new supplier Medallia. During the roadshow we’ll be discussing what’s new with the survey questions, providing a snapshot of what you’ll see in your new dashboards and some hints and tips on the steps you can take in your store to act on your customers feedback. The content from the roadshow will help to equip you with the information you need ahead of us rolling out manager access to the dashboard.
Sarah Yates - Head of Store Support
Sarah is the Head of Store Support, she oversees the Loss Prevention Team, the Simple Store Team and the Workload Management team. Sarah has worked in the food retail sector for 20 years and has a wealth of experience, working from Sainsburys, to Spar, and more recently has been with us at Midcounties for the last 2 years. Sarah will be talking about Cost and Simplification along with Chris Chandler, Dave Richards and Michelle Smith.
Chris Chandler – Simple Stores Manager
In this video I will be talking about some big changes to how we manage and account for our stock, from daily PI routines to annual stock valuation and introducing a new supplier to you who will be supporting us in this journey. I’ll also be introducing the concept of process optimisation and MCC Best Way. We have a programme planned for 2022 and beyond to help us reach these goals, but there is also a lot more we could still be doing with some of the assets and resources we have available to us now. As always, the best ideas come from stores and I hope you will continue to send these into us.
Michelle Smith – Workload Manager
I will be taking you through some of the projects that are underway & coming up in the Workload Team. A lot of this has been delayed due to the Kronos outage since December but we are excited to share with you some of the big changes coming up. This includes the changes to our Fit to land & communications, changes to reporting & analytics, improvements to Kronos & system changes to IFS & Payroll.
David Richards – Loss Prevention Manager
In this Roadshow I will be talking about out new strategy to ensure we make our colleagues feel safe whilst at work:
We will introduce our 5-year strategy to include a new Store incident reporting portal which will replace the current format we use; this will be a Web-based platform form, which will be quicker and easier for store teams to complete. Embedment of our Roaming Guards and how we identify those most at risk and building links with the local community. A designated Crime Hub that works together with the roaming guards in monitoring and reporting on incidents and creating case files for police and how they make decisions on whether the incidents are serious incident or not and not forgetting the overall and enhancement of our equipment. Enjoy watching and don’t forget to ask those questions in the comments section.
Simon Hartland – Food Retail Food Markets Manager
Our District Managers will talk you through how to Lead & Inspire from What Good Looks Like.
