This year’s Learning at Work Week is between 15 – 21 May. Claire McCarthy, Leadership and Career Solutions Lead, tells us a little more about it and how you can join the 'Lunch and Learn’ sessions next week!
Learning at Work Week is a national, annual event, which aims to put a spotlight on the importance and benefits of continual learning and development.
This year’s theme is ‘Creating the Future’ which explores how lifelong learning at work can help us all personally and collectively create our futures, from achieving work and life goals to driving innovation and achieving organisational ambitions.

We look forward to seeing you at the sessions!
We will also be making the session resources available to Managers following the sessions to share with their teams.
Manager’s Challenge
This year, we’re setting all our Managers a learning challenge! We’d love you and your teams to really embrace learning something new, for example, increasing your knowledge on local produce, exploring new childcare practices, learning about a new holiday destination, updating yourself on the latest greener energy options or speaking to a colleague to learn more about their role. Reflect on your learning with your Line Manager and discuss the impact this will have on your current and future roles. Share your experiences with us at: societylearningdevelopment@midcounties.coop
