National Apprenticeship Week 2023
National Apprenticeship Week was 6th to 12th February 2023 and this year’s theme was “Skills for Life”, focusing on how apprenticeships can help individuals to develop the skills and knowledge needed for a rewarding career, as well as how they help employers build a workforce with future ready skills.
During this year’s National Apprenticeship Week, we showcased how an Apprenticeship benefits both us as a Society, and you as a colleague.
You can read the article and watch the video to learn more about how an Apprenticeship can help you in your career here.
During National Apprenticeship Week, we also celebrated our Graduates of 2022! The graduates were sent a gift box to congratulate them on their fantastic achievement. This year, the gift boxes were sourced from Social Stories Club who specialise in using sustainable products from social enterprises, supporting different social causes and communities. The products in the gift boxes supported cocoa farmers in Ghana, an environmentally sustainable bakery on the Isle of Mull, a Fairtrade coffee company and a company whose products are made from waste materials, which are then fully recyclable.
A huge congratulations to all our graduates – we’re looking forward to seeing where you go next!

If you’re thinking about where to go next in your career or you’re looking for an opportunity to develop, why not book in a Development Check-in with your line manager?
Discuss your options with them and, who knows, this year you could be taking the LEAP!
