Get Involved! We want our Colleagues to share all the incredible and fantastic Thumbs Up and Good News stories from across the Society. 👍
It's easy to take part, all you have to do is send through your entries to thumbsup@midcounties.coop with a sentence outlining why you’ve given yourself, your team or a team member a ‘thumbs up’ today and we will feature it on Colleagues Connect.
Join us at Birmingham Pride – Ticket Giveaway 🏳🌈
As part of the Society’s Diversity and Inclusion Strategy, we are proud to support Birmingham Pride again this year!
Colleagues at Birmingham Pride in 2019
After a successful carnival in 2019, the event is back and to celebrate, we have 40 free places to giveaway to colleagues. Pride is a public event, usually involving a parade, held to celebrate gay and other LGBTQ+ identities, culture and experiences.
Date: Saturday 25th September 2021
As there are only 40 places available, they will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis – so let us know!
The parade follows the route through Birmingham City Centre making its way to the gay village located on Hurst Street.

‘Thumbs Up’ is our way of celebrating all your heroic efforts by sharing your great work and giving other colleagues the ability to like it.
It could be some great customer feedback you've received, something you've done to help the local community or simply a Thumbs Up to your team!
