We are now officially in the festive season and like most people this year we’re going early.

We’ve already told you about closing early on Christmas Eve and celebrating with colleagues; now as a further gesture of our appreciation for your hard work and dedication throughout the year we want to tell you about some more rewards. 

There’s something to make Christmas extra special, to help with the Christmas shop and to have something to look forward to, think of them as early stocking fillers.

£50 for everyone

To help make Christmas just that little bit extra special we’re giving every colleague £50 to spend in their local food store.

Whether that’s on treats for you, a bottle or two or something for the main event, it’s up to you, it’s yours, on us as a thank you.

Every colleague will receive their £50 Midcounties gift card by 16th December. Colleagues who do not live within our Food trading area will receive an alternative £50 gift card for their local Co-op.

20% Discount in Midcounties Food Stores

To help with the Christmas shop, you will be able to take advantage of the enhanced rate of 20% colleague discount for longer this Christmas.

Simply shop in your local Midcounties Food store between Saturday 12th December and Thursday 24th December and you’ll receive a 20% discount on your shopping.

There’s everything in-store, from sweet treats and the perfect tipple to something for the main event with options for all. Visit your local store to find out more.

Up to £500 off your next holiday, that’s something to look forward to.

For the first time, exclusively as a thank you, we will be increasing the level of colleague discount you can get off your next holiday, helping you to have something to look forward to.

As a valued colleague, you are normally entitled to 10% off holiday bookings - up to a maximum of £250 off in a 12-month period.  Now for a limited time only, the maximum limit is up to £500, on bookings made by 31 March 2021, effective from 2^nd December 2020
